Cameron Cemetery Tour set for April 20

The Hall County Historical Society is bringing its popular cemetery tour to the Cameron Cemetery northwest of Wood River and south of Cairo this spring to benefit the cemetery’s maintenance fund. As part of the tour, attendees will learn the history of the Cameron Cemetery, discuss symbolism used on gravestones, and hear stories about Cameron residents who are buried in the cemetery. A demonstration of dowsing will also be done to show how it can be used to locate unmarked graves.
